Water Costs May Rise In Las Vegas

As several water attractions along the Las Vegas strip are very popular for tourists you may believe that water is abundant in Las Vegas.  However, reports state that water utilities around the United States have outstanding debt to the tune of $330 billion and concerns seems to be emerging from water managers that we may see water shortages and price hikes in the years to come.  Read more on Yahoo! “The U.S. is not immune to water shortages, and not just in the arid West,” said Betsy Otto, director of Aqueduct, a project studying water issues.
